FALL RESOURCE SESSIONS
The Louisville Energy Alliance is sponsoring a series of free Resource Sessions on October 29 to promote energy efficiency in the commercial sector in Louisville. We know that over 40% of the greenhouse gas emissions in our community are generated by the commercial and industrial sector, and increasing the energy efficiency of our buildings is the most direct way to reduce these emissions. It.s also an effective way to reduce building operating costs.
Please take a look at the attached list of Resource Sessions offered by local and national energy efficiency experts, and join us on the 29th at Memorial Auditorium. The day will begin with continental breakfast at 8 a.m., and sessions kick off at 8:30. You are free to attend any or all sessions. It is not necessary to register for any sessions except the Portfolio Manager Training Sessions, because space is limited in the Computer Lab. You can register for the Portfolio Manager Training sessions here.
If you are considering signing up for the 2010 Kilowatt Crackdown, we encourage you to attend the Portfolio Manager training session at 8:30 or 1:00. Portfolio Manager is the keystone of the competition, and Leslie Cook, a Portfolio Manager expert from the US EPA.s ENERGY STAR program will be doing the training.
