Creating a Portfolio Manager Account
• To create an account and get started with Portfolio Manager, visit and click on the “Register” link on the right under the login prompt. Here you will also find the Benchmarking Starter Kit, which includes a Data Collection Worksheet, a Quick Reference Guide, and animated recorded training modules covering:
• Opening an account
• Entering building and energy information
• Updating energy use data
• Interpreting results
• Register for live or recorded, no-cost ENERGY STAR webinars covering a variety of topics including benchmarking in Portfolio Manager at www.energystar.gov/businesstraining

On-demand User Support
• Within Portfolio Manager, users with technical questions can access the following support resources located at the top of the "My Portfolio" and "Facility Summary" screens.
1. Click the "Help" button to access searchable online user-support information.
2. Click the "FAQ" button to access a searchable database of Frequently Asked Questions.
3. If a user still has a need for technical assistance after accessing the "Help" and FAQ" resources, they may also submit specific technical questions to EPA's dedicated User Support team by clicking the "Contact Us" button or emailing buildings@energystar.gov.
